Joining GCTSA
In order to join GCTSA and compete in our Region, each advisor must:
Affiliation deadline is November 1, 2024. Late affiliation deadline December 15, 2024 for an additional $250 fee.
Attend 2 mandatory advisor meetings plus 1 additional monthly advisor meeting. Mandatory advisor meetings: Regional Meeting on Jan 8 via TEAMS and Pre-Regional on Jan 29 at Cinco Ranch High School.
Each school wanting to compete at Regionals must have an advisor present at the Regional and Pre-Regional meeting.
Pay Affiliation and Regional Competition Fees
$50 Affiliation Fee per Chapter
$20 Chapter Fee for Regionals Competition
$10 per student competitor @ Regionals
Advisor manhours – each advisor is expected to be present for the WHOLE EVENT Friday and Saturday and working at coordinating events, judging, wrangling kids, etc. Please volunteer or I will need to assign you.
Judges – each chapter is expected to prove at a minimum of 2 judges (not including the advisor). If you have a large number of entries/kids be sure to contribute more judges. As mentioned earlier, we have over 1000+ entries that need to be judged!
